THE RVT EXPERIENCE · PROPOSED

Four steps toward a more confident purchase.

01

Inspect

Independently document the RV's condition and identify findings.

02

Inform

Make verified findings available through a VIN-linked record.

03

Educate

Give buyers a hands-on orientation before they accept delivery.

04

Expand

Develop reliable, independent RV market information from VIN-linked inspections, documented condition, maintenance history, and verified completed sale prices.

Independent market information is a future capability, not currently available. Reliable comparisons require sufficient verified data.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

Potential benefits for everyone involved.

Manufacturers

Identify defects earlier, learn from recurring findings, and demonstrate product quality with independent documentation.

Dealers

Offer buyers verified condition information and a clear, upfront selling price—reducing prolonged negotiation.

Lenders

Finance transactions with disclosed terms and clearer documentation, without paying dealers for financing or referrals.

Consumers

See the RV’s condition, understand the complete price and financing terms, and participate in hands-on orientation before delivery.

These are intended benefits of RVT's proposed model, not claims of outcomes already achieved.

ABOUT US

From an industry challenge to a human-centered solution.

How RVT began

RVT began with a straightforward idea: consumers should know the condition of an RV before buying it, and the people responsible for correcting defects should have clear, accountable processes.

RVT is developing an independent third-party inspection model designed to help manufacturers identify and correct defects before delivery, help dealers present verified information, and help buyers understand the RV they are purchasing.

Our proposed RVT Care program extends that same focus on accountability to warranty service—without RVT becoming a bank, lender, or warranty insurer.

Mission: strengthen confidence in RV ownership through independent verification, accessible information, consumer education, and accountable industry partnerships.

Our proposed launch plan

  1. Establish inspection standards, training, and independent reporting practices.
  2. Pilot manufacturer and dealer inspections with a small regional team.
  3. Test VIN-linked records, scheduling, and corrective-action verification using existing software.
  4. Expand — Develop reliable, independent RV market information based on VIN-linked inspection findings, documented condition, maintenance history, and verified completed sale prices. (Future capability.)

RVT VEHICLES · VIN-BASED VERIFICATION

Care before, during, and after the sale.

RVT proposes two ways for sellers to participate: an RVT Partner commitment across a dealer’s inventory, or an individual VIN listing for a specific inspected RV. Every vehicle would still require its own inspection and documented status. An inspection alone would not mean the transaction is RVT Verified.

Each RVT record follows an individual vehicle identification number (VIN). Our proposed process begins with independent inspection, continues through transaction review and hands-on Check-the-Box orientation, and includes a clearly disclosed three-day return benefit on qualifying sales. Buyers who choose to purchase independently can retain the inspection record and maintain a separate, owner-reported service history.

Three Days to Fall in Love. Or Give It Back. This is a proposed voluntary seller-and-lender customer-service benefit, not a universal legal right. It would have no separate consumer fee; its conditions would be disclosed before signing and delivery.

RVT Partners and individual VIN listings

RVT Dealer Partners would agree to RVT’s independent inspection and transaction-transparency standards across their entire inventory. Dealers who do not make that broader commitment could still submit a specific VIN for inspection and a spot listing. A spot listing would apply only to that vehicle and would not identify the dealership as an RVT Partner.

Each RV would have its own inspection findings and verification status. For a qualifying RVT Verified Sale, the seller would support transparent transaction documentation, hands-on buyer orientation, and a clearly documented three-day return option agreed to by the seller and applicable lender.

Transparent pricing and participating lenders

RVT proposes that participating sellers disclose a verifiable, consistently defined acquisition cost, selling price, dealer margin, and itemized fees before purchase.

RVT Lender Partners would commit to transparent financing standards for their participating RV transactions, including disclosure of material loan terms and fees, independent transaction verification, and cooperation with any agreed three-day return benefit on qualifying sales.

Participating lenders would pay no direct or indirect dealer compensation for financing or referrals—including dealer reserve, referral fees, commissions, retained rate markups, or payments through affiliates or third parties.

RVT would not originate loans, approve credit, or guarantee financing. Partner participation and listings are future concepts; no dealers or lenders are currently approved or endorsed.

How RVT Vehicles would work

From pre-sale inspections to buyer orientation, VIN-linked records, and post-sale quality support, these are the proposed operating standards behind RVT Vehicles.

New RVs

Independent pre-shipment inspection at participating manufacturing facilities; manufacturer addresses findings before delivery. RVT records the verified condition.

Used RVs

Independent inspection at participating dealerships before purchase, with documented findings shared directly by RVT.

Consumer orientation

RVT representatives demonstrate equipment, buyers operate it, and both record what works and what needs attention.

VIN-linked records

Inspection findings, verified repairs, and authorized service updates are maintained with permissions and privacy controls.

Industry relationships

Participating businesses would agree to clear disclosures, independent verification, no lender-to-dealer compensation, and a separately documented three-day return benefit where offered.

Quality assurance

Lead inspectors would audit reports, supervise training, and escalate safety concerns. Participating manufacturers and dealers would also agree to help RV owners obtain authorized warranty repairs through qualified service partners across the United States, with clear procedures for repair approval, coordination, and documentation—without requiring owners to return to the original selling dealership. These arrangements are proposed and would depend on participating partners and applicable warranty terms.

These are proposed participation standards, not currently available services or signed industry agreements.

RVT CARE · PROPOSED SERVICE NETWORK

Warranty service without the runaround.

RVT Care is a proposed network of participating warranty providers, independent service centers, and qualified mobile technicians. Its purpose is to make authorized warranty service easier to obtain away from the original selling dealership.

Choose a participating provider

Owners may request service from an appropriately qualified RVT-network repair center or mobile technician, where the work is suitable and authorized.

Two-business-day claim response

Participating warranty administrators would agree to approve, explain a denial, or identify missing information within two business days after receiving a complete claim.

Five-business-day payment

Participating warranty administrators would agree to pay approved providers within five business days after authorized repairs are completed and a proper invoice is received.

Clear commitment to providers

Pre-authorization would establish the responsible party's obligation to pay agreed charges for properly completed and documented work, subject to contract terms.

Track service performance

RVT would coordinate information and measure approval times, payment times, and unresolved service issues.

No RVT-held money

RVT Care would not require a savings account, consumer deposit, RVT repair loan, or RVT-funded warranty guarantee.

Participation standards—not a new financial product

These timeframes are proposed partnership terms, not current warranties or promises of coverage. Each manufacturer or warranty administrator must independently agree to the requirements. Coverage, safety restrictions, and qualified-provider eligibility remain subject to the applicable warranty and signed participation agreements.

FOR RV BUYERS & OWNERS

Your Check-the-Box Responsibilities

During the proposed RVT-led orientation, participate actively, operate the RV systems yourself when appropriate, and ask questions until you understand what has been demonstrated.

  • Be present for the hands-on orientation and request additional instruction whenever needed.
  • Document concerns, missing demonstrations, and systems that do not operate correctly.
  • Check a box only when the demonstration occurred and you understand it; never mark an unresolved or malfunctioning system as successfully verified.
  • Do not accept pressure to acknowledge something you have not understood or verified.

Checking a box does not waive warranties, statutory consumer rights, or unresolved defects, nor does it guarantee that equipment will never fail.

Choose an Independent Sale? Keep Your VIN History.

You may choose to negotiate or purchase an RV independently, even after receiving an RVT inspection. If the seller or lender declines an RVT program requirement—or you elect not to use the full program—the RVT inspection remains linked to its VIN, but the transaction is not described as an RVT Verified Sale.

RVT will provide a Program Separation Acknowledgment identifying the VIN, completed services, incomplete services, and the status of the three-day return benefit. It does not waive your legal rights. A return option applies only if the seller and lender have actually committed to it in enforceable purchase documents.

Maintain your vehicle record

  1. When Member accounts launch, access your vehicle’s VIN-linked record.
  2. Review the original RVT inspection and any unresolved findings.
  3. Add maintenance dates, mileage, repairs, warranty work, and replaced equipment.
  4. Upload receipts, invoices, photos, or service records.
  5. Check whether each entry is labeled RVT-verified or owner-submitted.

Member accounts and maintenance uploads are planned features, not yet available.

Know the RV. Understand the deal. Love the decision.

RVT is developing a VIN-based buying experience: independent inspection of the RV, independent review of the actual sales transaction, hands-on buyer orientation, and a three-day return option. The same proposed process applies to a listed RV whether you find it on RVT's website or at the seller's location.

Three Days to Fall in Love. Or Give It Back.

Buying an RV is a big decision. RVT's proposed standard gives the buyer three days after final signing and physical delivery—which should occur together—to decide whether to keep the RV or use the agreed return option.

Clear before you buy: The seller must disclose exactly how the three days are counted, mileage and condition limits, where and how to return the RV, deadlines, refund procedures, and how any financing will be unwound. These conditions are still being developed; no specific return terms are currently in effect through RVT.

This is an additional proposed seller-provided protection, not a general legal right to cancel every RV purchase. RVT will not label a sale fully completed in its verification record until the return window ends or a timely return is resolved.

RVT is preparing for launch. Inspections, member enrollment, referrals, and the three-day return program are not yet available.

CONSUMER EDUCATION

Know Your Rights!

Know what the law provides—and what participating businesses voluntarily offer. RVT aims to explain both clearly, without hidden program expectations.

Before You Sign

Ask for a complete written breakdown of the RV’s condition, price, fees, financing, warranty coverage, and any return terms. Review documents before final signing and physical delivery.

Inspection, Rejection & Revocation

Depending on the transaction and applicable state law, buyers may have rights relating to nonconforming goods, rejection, or revocation of acceptance. These remedies are fact-specific and are not the same as an automatic right to return an RV because you changed your mind.

After Delivery

Keep inspection findings, sales documents, repair records, warranty information, and communications. Available remedies depend on the facts, agreements, and applicable law.

The RVT Three-Day Promise

Three Days to Fall in Love. Or Give It Back. This is a proposed voluntary customer-service benefit of qualifying RVT sales, not a nationwide statutory cancellation right. The benefit must be agreed to by the seller and supported by the lender before signing and delivery, with no separate consumer fee. Eligibility, exact deadline, mileage and condition requirements, return steps, refunds, trade-ins, and financing unwinding must be disclosed in advance.

Educational overview only, not legal advice. Consumer rights vary by jurisdiction and transaction. RVT is preparing to launch; the program and Member tools are not yet operational.
